All aspects of this project were designed and developed by Punk Rök Studio (Kyle Dawney). Designs include: branding, physical product design (2D and 3D design), user interface and user experience design, and the development of a complete design system for the VERSE OS platform.

Each VERSE console comes packaged with a first party VERSE docking system that let's you connect to any external monitor or television that supports HDMI.
The VERSE console also includes additional USB-C ports for connecting a wide range of supported peripherals. The dock also comes equipped with built-in Bluetooth to connect to supported wireless devices.

Use the online VERSE customizer to make a console that is made just for you. Select colours, components, and features that speak to your personal style and suit your play level. Whether you're casual, hardcore, or somewhere in between, there's a VERSE configuration for you.
EXPANDABLE & MODDABLE
UPGRADE FRIENDLY.
A console should be built to last. If a component wears out, simply replace it. Want to upgrade your buttons, audio module, or screens? Go for it. The VERSE console is designed to defeat the capitalist business mindset of "planned obsolescence". The first VERSE you buy can be your last, and that's a-okay with us.
The VERSE team supports the design and development of first and third party upgrades and enhancements to all VERSE consoles.
HARDWARE POWER MODES
OPTIMIZED FOR ANY GENERATION OF GAMING.
Games are a part of history. So the VERSE console was built with that in mind. Playing games that scratch your nostalgic itch? Switch into low power mode and extend your play sessions. Playing the latest, greatest AAA title? For optimal performance, switch into high power mode. The choice is yours.
Any game will play smoothly in either power mode, but for increased frame rates and screen brightness, it's recommended to use high power mode.
AUDIO MODULE
CONSOLE QUALITY AUDIO, MINIFIED.
The VERSE console includes a high-end audio module that outputs the same quality of sound you would expect from any modern TV console. A true stereo experience awaits!
On top of that, you can even personalize your VERSE console with one of three custom audio module face plate designs.
Each VERSE console's audio module also includes a standard 3.5mm audio jack (located on the left hand side of the device) for gaming in quiet spaces.
CUSTOM CONTROLS & LAYOUTS
BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU PLAY.
Build your VERSE console exactly how you want it. Choose between two directional pad (D-pad) designs, as well as your ABXY button configurations. No matter what console you're coming from, the VERSE will feel like home.
All configurations can be modified or upgraded any time you wish.
DUAL-SCREEN INTERFACE

Two screens has been done before. But two screens hasn't been done like this before. A dedicated touch screen gives you access to control schemes specific to the genre of games you play.
Additionally, all controls are user configurable so you can tweak and adjust the settings so that everything feels just right for your own personal gaming experience.

The VERSE Design System is an all-encompassing framework that serves to direct designers and developers by providing them with standardized use cases within the VERSE ecosystem (including, but not limited to, the VERSE Product Customizer, VERSE OS, and all other digital media).
